Why exercise at home?

It seems every time you look at a newspaper or turn on a tv a new study has come out telling you the benefits of exercising and being active. But going to the gym and doing exercises that you saw in a magazine or copying the person next to you is not the most efficient way of improving your health and can even be dangerous. Your exercise program must be tailored to you as an individual to reflect your unique strength/weaknesses and goals.

To further complicate matters, in today's modern lifestlye the majority of people are not active as part of their job and are forced to use what little free time they have for exercising. This leads to rushed routines at crowded gyms, which can be very stressful and defeat a lot of the positive effects of exercise.
